Background
Bees are essential for ecosystems. And they are in peril. For two years, Greenpeace Spain has been collecting signatures to save them. To make progress with this 250,000 signatures were needed.
Idea
People and bees are in this together; it's our common struggle. That's why this time to increase pressure the task was to add the signatures of 250,000 bees to the petition.
When bees were watched, it was noticed that they traced an invisible line in the air, like a signature. The idea was to make this signature into something tangible.
Using the flight paths of bees and software designed specifically for this purpose thousands of bee signatures were gathered.
Each person's signature will be joined with a bee's signature, and the final document will be delivered to the Ministry of Agriculture.
For the first time ever, Greenpeace has the support of its most prominent protagonist, bees.
